Pointe shoe fittings at Allegra & Company are done by former professional dancers with over 15 years of experience. We know exactly how foot bones and muscles work. We constantly study how the newest pointe shoes are built. Because we carry over 17 styles in store, we can match the exact shape of your foot to the perfect shoe. This keeps your joints lined up correctly to prevent injuries and helps you dance safely.

Allegra & Co. was born from a pretty simple idea: Alaska’s dancers, skaters, and athletes deserve better access to the things that help them do what they love.
We know what it’s like to search for the right pair of shoes, wait for an order to make its way to Alaska, worry about whether something will fit, or realize at the last minute that your child has outgrown their tights.
That’s why we built Allegra.
We wanted to create a place where a parent can ask a hundred questions without feeling silly. Where a skater can find something beautiful for a competition. Where an athlete from a smaller community can still have access to quality gear without having to navigate the challenges of shopping from thousands of miles away.
We’re a small Alaska business, and we take that seriously.
We believe in supporting the studios, coaches, teachers, teams, and families who make our community what it is. We believe in keeping more of that support local. We believe rural Alaska deserves access, too.
And above all, we believe in the kids.
